Manenberg residents fill up City’s Basket of Services

On Wednesday, 23 October 2024, the City of Cape Town’s Corporate Services Directorate took its Basket of Services offering to Manenberg’s Downs Community Hall

On Wednesday, 23 October 2024, the City of Cape Town’s Corporate Services Directorate took its Basket of Services offering to Manenberg’s Downs Community Hall. Several City departments were in attendance to present their services and assisted over 350 residents on the day with enquiries or concerns that affect them.

‘In Manenberg more than 350 residents came to the City’s Basket of Services where 54 City officials attended to them. By meeting residents where they live, and getting to know them we truly live out being the City of Hope. It was heartening and a great privilege to see how the Basket of Service offering has grown since it started out,’ said Alderman Theresa Uys Mayco Member for Corporate Services at the Manenberg Downs Community Hall on Wednesday, 23 October 2024
